NASHVILLE, TN — March 2024 — Meridian ENT & Audiology announced earlier today that it has expanded its hearing aid technology program, giving patients access to the latest digital hearing devices along with more comprehensive fitting and follow-up care.

The expanded program includes in-house hearing evaluations, personalized device fitting, and a 45-day adjustment period, during which patients work directly with an audiologist to fine-tune their device settings. According to the practice, this kind of hands-on support is often missing from larger retail hearing aid providers.

"Hearing loss affects every part of daily life, from conversations with family to hearing a doorbell," said Dr. Alan Whitfield, lead audiologist at Meridian ENT & Audiology. "Our goal with this expansion is to make sure patients aren't just handed a device and sent home. We want them actually to understand how to use it, and to have real support if something isn't working the way it should."

The expanded program is now accepting new patients, with same-week evaluation appointments available. Most insurance plans are accepted.
